Uppsatstävling - DNA Day!
Inbjudan: Gymnasieelever välkomna att delta i en uppsatstävling
om genetik. Inlämning senast 25 april 2018.
Årets tema: Diskutera rollen för genetisk testning inom sportens
värld.

in sport.'
Apart from describing immediate problems, you may also confront the
paradox that while we celebrate the fact that a world champion
athlete is one person in several billion, we disqualify them as soon as
we discover why they are so exceptional.
Delta: Genom att skicka in en skriftlig essä (ca 750 ord) eller en 3
minuter lång video om ämnet, på engelska.
Vinst: De tre bästa uppsatserna och deras klasser vinner pengar.

The contest is open to students ages 15-19, who should submit their essays electronically between November 2017 and April 25, 2018 (Deadline for submission of the essays). Winning essays will be announced via the ESHG website by end of May/beginning of June as well as at the annual European Society meeting in Milan, Italy on June 19. The top three essays in each category will be awarded monetary prizes, one for the student and a second for the class/teacher. All students who submit an essay will receive a certification of participation.
