ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON AL VIN C. ROBERTSON
Alvin C. Robertson, newly appointed assistant to the southern
district manager of The Great Western Sugar Company, has been a fieldman in the Greeley district since joining the company in 1952.
Mr. Robertson was born at Fort Collins, Colo. , and grew up on a beet-growing farm near Wellington.
After completing courses at Barnes Business School, Denver, and one year at Colorado State University which he entered in 1940,
Mr. Robertson ·served in naval aviation, 1942-46.
Extensive training as a student and instructor in multi-engine aircraft led to his designation, . 1945, as flight commander in transport operations over a wide area including Guadalcanal, the Philippines, Okinawa and Guam. He left the service as lieutenant, . senior grade,
After the war he farmed with his father, Charles Robertson, and studied agricultural administration and livestock feeding under the G. I. program.
Mr. Robertson married Miss Betty Jane Baker in 1945. They have three children, Bruce, Janelle and Charles. They will live at 845 Cook-St. , . Denver.
