around a specific question in a systematic way .

Why should I involve a

librarian in my research

project?

Helpful tools for formulating research questions and search terms:

* PICO (population, intervention, comparison/control, outcome) or

* SPICE: (setting, perspective, intervention, comparison, evaluation)

Help with for example: * Choice of databases * Building block strategies

* MeSH/index terms and free text * Filters

With the help of a reference management program (see the other poster!)

By using a reference management program such as: * RefWorks

* EndNote * Zotero

Help with describing the methodology and database searches correctly.
