General evaluation
The dostoral thesis of Master of Science Przemyslaw Ceynowa entitled "Modification of diamond nanopowders by the
MW
PACVD rotary reactor chamber" consists of 7 chapters, bibliography andlist of
appendices. The entire thesis occupiesa total of
118 pages. The dissertation has extensive, and well-introducing into the subjec! literature review based on 91carefully
selected bibliographical positions.The scientific output of the PhD
student(according to the documents supplied) includes 18 items out of
which2
are publications on aregular magazines, others are included in the conference proceedings.
Purpose and the thesis of work has been formulated clearly, According to the reviewer the main advantages of work includo:

Confirmation of the effrciency of the modification in biological testsThe work is an interesting approach to the current and actual subject of modification and
functionalization

new cognitive elements, The PhD thesis primarily hasa
construetion character where the emphasisis on the
development, construction and implementationof the
equipment for modification of powders using MW PACVD method, In this part the graduate student showed a large engineering experiencein
designing and building the apparatus, successfully using his own proprietary solutions. The effectiveness of the method used for the modification was also confirnedin
the comparative biological research, which also helpedto
achieve the goalof
work and proving the thesis,

Thecandidate at the doctor degree also did not escape some elTols and simplifications noted by the reviewer. The most important remarks include:

The nomenclature used for the tested szunples of powders is not clear. In the caseof
biological and FTIR tests samples are labeled as ND-0,

1, ND-2, while for SEM studies as PD, PDM,PDM
