The revolutionary 5th Element

shock features patented Control Valve Technology (CV/T

) which provides no-bob pedaling efficiency while maintaining the ultimate in bump absorbtion capability. Five adjustments allow the user to dial in the shock for maximum performance taking into consideration rider preference, style and terrain. CV/T

eliminates the harshness of standard shocks over square edges and allows lighter spring rates for a smoother ride and to save weight - Optional Titanium springs save even more.

In addition, the five adjustments, including the unique position sensitive damping adjustment, accommodates the widest range of damping adjustments while providing complete bottoming control.

For superior durability the 5th Element shock body is black zinc-coated steel and the 1/2” diameter tubular steel shaft is black nitride coated for a finish that is impervious to rust, environmentally friendly and corrosion resistant. In addition, the piston ring is backed by an o-ring to greatly extend the internal life.

T-MAXX Shock Kit

Progressive Suspension, Inc offers the Ultimate T-MAXX Shock Absorber Kit. This kit includes a complete set of 8 EDC-2 shocks with reservoirs and springs. EDC-2 Shocks feature massive 3/16" diameter shafts, 4-position external damping adjustment and our race proven Piggyback reservoirs. Shocks feature precision machined aluminum bodies and Reservoirs, Teflon pistons and closed cell foam volume compensation for consistent performance.

Reservoirs are polished and anodized in six different colors: Gold, Purple, Black, Blue, Red and Clear (Silver). Special progressive rate springs developed specifically for the T-MAXX are also included.

Specially designed progressive rate springs for EDC and Associated shocks.

Designed for a compliant initial suspension movement with increased final rate for improved bottoming control. Springs are 2.8” long and feature a 2.5/3.5 lb./in.

Piggyback Reservoir Kits

Piggyback Reservoirs are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, polished and anodized in six great colors. Featuring a unique closed cell foam insert for volume compensation, these reservoirs increase oil capacity and eliminate oil aeration. This results in more consistent performance during long races and fewer rebuilds.

EDC Shock Kits

No more time consuming piston swapping. Like full scale competition shocks, these Progressive Suspension EDC shocks allow you to quickly adjust spring preload and damping with the shocks on the car. Hard anodized body, Teflon® pistons, silicon

“O” rings. Four damping settings plus spring preload adjuster allows you to quickly dial-in the shocks to suit your car and terrain. EDC Shocks are 100% rebuildable and are compatible with all viscosities of silicon shock fluids. Shocks come complete with assembly and setup instructions. Designed to work with standard Associated™

and Losi™ springs (not included).

The new TRK-5 comes with a huge 68 gram CO₂ cartridge (standard on our other kits is a 12 gram cartridge). The 68 gram cartridge (RC-004) is over five times bigger than the standard cartridges allowing for quick tire refills on ATV tires as well as those huge wide tires now found on many street bikes.
