The presence of sexual violence is a departure from gender equal societies. Women all over

the world are not able to enjoy the sense of safety to the same extent as men. The

reduction of sexual violence has been included in SDG 5-“Gender Equality” where one target reads “Proportion of women and girls aged 15

years and older subjected to sexual violence by persons other than an intimate partner in the

previous 12 months, by age and place of

occurrence”. The aim of our project is to create a strong foundation for the reduction of

sexual violence worldwide.

ACHIEVE SECURITY IN UNITY

SECUNITY

Many cases of sexual violence occur in

restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

14.0% of all women aged 15-24 have been the victims of sexual

violence. Same number among women aged 25- 44 was

5.5%

4/10 women aged 16-44 stated that they had a moderate or a great fear of

becoming the victim of sexual violence.

A Tool for Women

With Secunity, women have easy access to overview information regarding sexual violence at different venues - and can influence the situation by sharing their own experiences. As women share experiences and exchange information - they have the tool to control their situation when going out for dinner, having a beer at bar or dancing all night at a club.

A Tool for Companies

Through Secunity, women provide companies with feedback on their level of safety & companies gain insight on how their venue is

perceived. The app translates

women’s experiences into objective and valuable information for

companies. This provides companies with an indicator of whether and

what preventive actions should be taken

A TWO DIMENSIONAL TOOL

A fight to end sexual violence in unity. In the #metoo campaign, victims summoned the courage to tell the world about their experiences in an attempt to make it stop. Now, Secunity will contribute

to a a society where men, women & corporations fight for the security of women- in unity.
