Anna Orlof, the author of the thesis received her graduate education at the Department of Mathematics, Linköping University. She obtained her Master’s degree in Mathematics in Computer Science and Management from the University of Science and Technology, Krakow, Poland. Her undergraduate studies in mathematics where complemented by experience in physics: one year internship in Particle Physics Group at the Univesrsità degli Studi di Genova, Italy, two-months internship in the Center of Astronomy and Particle Theory at the University of Nottingham and one year exchange studies at the University of Oslo.
