Dear Partners,

Novia University of Applied Sciences is pleased to announce its third International Week taking place in Raseborg and Turku 4–6 October 2016.

Our International Week targets all staff members from partner universities interested in knowing more about Novia UAS, Finland and Finnish culture as well as sharing work related experiences and best prac- tices with other participants. The focus of the International Week will be on

“Virtual Education and Project-Based Learning”.

Attached you will find the Preliminary Programme. The official language of the International Week is English.

Since the number of participants will be limited we recommend the interested candidates to fill in the application form and submit it by 1.9.2016 at the latest. Please contact isabelle.bonnet@novia.fi if you have any questions regarding the application. The selection results will be sent to each participant shortly after the application deadline. Please note that we will accept no more than 20 guests altogether, and only two participants from each university. Participants are expected to give a short presentation of the virtual education at their home university and to bring brochures for the education market.

Participants are expected to cover their travel, accommodation and meal costs themselves, but we will be happy to accept attendance as part of Erasmus+ Staff Training or as Erasmus+ Teacher Training. The visit to Fiskars including dinner 5.10 and the trip to Turku including lunch 6.10 are free of charge.

Raseborg is situated mid-way between Helsinki and Turku and can be reached by train from either Helsinki or Turku.

Please feel free to contact us if you need any further information.

We look forward to welcoming you to Raseborg and Turku!

Kind regards,

Isabelle Bonnet, Camilla Pundars-Mitts and Camilla Moliis International Office
