CT Angiography Analysis
From Software Development to Clinical Application

Advances of coronary Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) have resulted in a boost of use of this new technique in the last years and a challenge to radiologists by the increasing number of exams and the large amount of data for each patient. In this study, we have developed an open-source software module for coronary CTA analysis from scratch by combining knowledge of medicine and image processing. Its performance was evaluated in a clinical setting.
