Welcome to the Master´s Degree Programme Entrepreneurship in the Arts
Study start
The first intensive course week will start 14 September at 10 am and will continue until 27 September 2015 at Novia´s Campus Allegro in Jakobstad. The first days of studies will include orientation to the studies, different practicalities and meeting fellow students. The block also includes an introduction to
Academic Studies, MA-‐thesis, Artistic Research, Critical Approaches and Art Markets and –Scenes etc.
Please remember to bring your original school certificates upon your arrival.
In the beginning of August the student will receive more information about the first 2 weeks of on location studies including schedule, readings, assignments and preparations, but also information about alternatives for temporary accommodation in Jakobstad.
Traveling
To get to Campus Allegro in Jakobstad from abroad the student can book a flight to Helsinki-‐Vantaa airport (https://www.finavia.fi/en/helsinki-‐airport/). From the airport there are flights going to Kokkola-‐Pietarsaari airport
(http://www.finavia.fi/en/kokkola-‐pietarsaari/) that is situated about 30 km from the Jakobstad city center. From Kokkola-‐Pietarsaari airport the student has to take a taxi. The student can also take a bus from the Helsinki-‐Vantaa airport to the train station in Helsinki (timetable and tickets for the train www.vr.fi). The closest train station to Jakobstad is Bennäs (Pännäinen). From the train station there is a buss going to Jakobstad city center. Please tell the bus driver you are going to Campus Allegro and he or she will drop you of in front of the Campus.
