Area 1

Oak, Beech and Linden trees along the stone walls and around the park of the existing

“Elisefarm” buildings. The trees are of impressive size and character and should be preserved. They form a great landscape setting for the farm.

Smaller trees have come up between the larger specimens and these should be removed to ensure the prober development of the large trees.

Area 2

Newly planted Willows to screen out the storage area behind the farm buildings.

The willows have little environmental interest except for the screening effect. These will disappear with the new development.

Area 3

Partition along the new access road

Small groups of trees along the stone wall. Mainly Alder and small Oaks. The trees form a good separation in the landscape with enough open spaces to provide views towards Ringsjön.

The trees should not be affected by the development.

Area 4

Edge around the central lake.

Self-seeded Willow and Alder trees have come up in the area between the lake, the farmed field and the areas not used by the golf course.

The trees have little botanical interest and should be thinned out to create open views of the lake from the proposed development.

Area 5

Right-hand-side of the existing hole 10.

Self-seeded woodland scrub consisting mainly of Alder and Willow and will be removed as part of the development.

Along the existing access road there are large specimens of Willow. The older specimens of willow are close to the end of their natural life and should be considered removed to avoid dangerous situations. These trees are not directly affected by the development.

Area 6

The drainage ditch following the 13th/14th holes

The ditch has flowing water during the winter, but often dries out in summer.

The ditch starts at a small lake build during the construction of the golf course and it passes a small lake/holding pond. Around the top lake a band of Alder trees have grown up on the

Eastern side and these trees should be thinned out to generate views of the lake from the development.

Around the small holding pond there are some specimen trees which should be considered saved. These trees are not directly impacted by the proposed development. On the edge of the small lake stones have been placed and could potentially be good habitat for reptiles, especially if trees are cleared away in order for the sun to heat up the stones.

The ditch has an important function as a wildlife corridor between the lakes and this should be preserved.

Along the drainage ditch there are several smaller trees, mainly Alder. These are not affected by the development.

Area 7

Field partition

On the boundary between the two fields there has been placed stones in piles of varying size. These will be affected by the proposed development, but as there are many stone walls in the area these smaller piles are of little value as they are not directly connected and therefor does not function optimally as a wildlife corridor.

Part of the field partition should be preserved and connected with the proposed lake (along hole 12).
