About the Course

Praktik på arbetsplatsen och fyra examinationsuppgifter

Totalt 480 timmar på praktikplatsen inom terminen 30 aug – 16 jan. Du + din

praktikplats schemalägger själva tiden

Tänk på att hinna med uppgifterna som ges löpande under terminen, dvs

reflektion och examinationsuppgifter

Rekommendation: 32 tim/v hos

arbetsgivaren, 8 tim/v för att löpande arbeta med examinationsuppgifterna

Du har två handledare, en på din arbetsplats, en från K3

Internship at workplace and four examination assignments.

Total 480 hours at the internship during the term 30 Aug - 16 Jan. You + your

workplace decide your schedule.

Remember to keep up with the tasks given during the semester, ie reflection and examination assignments

Recommendation: 32 hrs/w at workplace, 8 hrs/w to work with the exam assignments on an ongoing basis

You have two supervisors, one at the workplace, one from K3

Deadlines–Before Course Start

15 april Deadline söka praktikkursen

1 juni Deadline för att ha kommit in med egen praktikplats, skickas till Louise Löfqvist via

formulär

(Normalt 15 Maj, förlängt pga Covid-19)

15 juni Deadline för att ha tagit 105 hp inom sitt program (Omtentor vid senare tillfällen där resultat rapporteras in efter 1 juni kommer inte vara ett undantag.)

Innan midsommar: praktik-avtalen skickas ut till praktikplatserna

När Louise Löfqvist får avtalen åter så kommer hon göra antagning till kursen i Ladok, vilket då även blir synligt för CSN

15 April Deadline apply to internship course

1 June Deadline for submitting your own internship placement, sent to Louise Löfqvist via the form

(Normally 15 Maj, extended due to Covid-19)

15 June Deadline for taking 105 credits within your program (Re-exams at later dates where results are reported after June 1 will not be an exception.)

Before mid summer: the internship contracts will be sent to the workplaces

When Louise Löfqvist gets the contracts in return she will make admission to the course in Ladok, which will then be visible to CSN

The Covid-19 situation

• We follow the Malmö University guidelines. To date our judgement is that this course can run in autumn 2021 as it’s normally done. The Internship Expo might be digital as last year, or a blended version at Niagara and digital.

• The deadline for submission of your internship placement is extended from 15 maj to 1 june 2021.

• Internship at the workplace or ”at distance”? We only allow distance- internship if it’s due to Covid-19. We recommend that you follow the

workplace’s policy for their employees. The decision is made between you and your workplace, in the same way as you decide your working hours.

• If you are in a tricky situation with your internship and the Covid-19-situation, contact us and we hope to be able to find a solution. When the course has started you discuss any issues with your supervisor.

30 aug -10 sept Kontakta din MAU-

handledare för första kontakt och avstämning att allt är igång

1-31 okt Genomför examinationsuppgift 1, boka tid med dina två handledare

8 Dec (prel) Montera utställningsbidrag (examination 2)

9 Dec (prel) Internship Expo, heldag konferens (examination 2+3)

16 Jan Lämna in skriftlig reflektion i Canvas (examinationsuppgift 4)

30 Aug Course start. Enter Canvas and check the info there. All course info will be

communicated via Canvas (Sve + Eng)

30 Aug -10 Sept Contact your MAU supervisor for a first contact + check that things are up and running.

1-31 Okt Do examination 1, make an appointment with your two supervisors.

8 Dec (prel) Mounting exhibition contribution Internship Expo (exam 2)

9 Dec (prel) Internship Expo, full day conference (exam 2+3)

16 Jan Submit written reflection in Canvas (exam 4)

What is an Erasmus+ Traineeship Scholarship?

• Scholarship for a full-time traineeship at a company or an organisation, you arrange the position yourself

• €595 or €655/month

• Traineeship for at least two months (60 days), physically in host country

• Some restrictions regarding country and company/organisation

• The application is open all year round, deadline two weeks before departure

• Insurance through Malmö University

Different possibilities

• As part of an internship course Credit-bearing

• Outside of your regular study program

Non credit-bearing traineeship, but registered as a note in your Diploma Supplement.

E.g. during the summer.

You may also apply as a so called ’recent graduate’ after your studies.

• In the context of a thesis

You are registered for thesis studies at Malmö University, and examined in Malmö, but you conduct data collection at a company or organization in Europe.
