• Biomass is a limited resource, must be used efficiently

• BioDME is a bio fuel for heavy duty (diesel engine)

• BioDME competitive already at relatively low volumes and low oil price

– High energy efficiency and yield

– Relatively low investment cost for production

– Simple technology for distribution (LPG), scalable

• DME can not be blended into existing infra structure Æ Collaboration needed with all players, society, producers, distributors, truck manufacturers, …

• BioDME project a unique demonstration, important step for BioDME

• Next step: Establish the necessary conditions to enable producers, distributors, truck manufacturers to decide to go for DME
