She is also a member of the Cognition and Interaction Lab, COIN at the University of Skövde. Her main research interest is at the intersection of the fields of Information Fusion, Human Computer Interaction and Cognitive Science. In this doctorial thesis, Nilsson presents a new methodology (CASADEMA) which captures the interaction between humans and the technology they use to support their decision-making within the domain of Information Fusion. More specifically, the method is based on the theoretical framework of distributed cognition and ethnography.
The method has been developed by combining both theoretical and empirical studies.
