Welcome to

Prisman Family Centre

The Prisman Family Centre is a place where parents-to-be and parents with children aged 0 to 6 years come together. Various services for the health and well-being of children and parents are offered under one roof. A midwife, paediatric nurse, social counselling and an an open pre-school can be found here. All the centre’s staff are bound by a duty of confidentiality.

Open pre-school

In our pre-school, you can meet other children and parents. Parents and children can play, sing, read and take part in our activities. It costs nothing to come, and you are responsible for your child or children. Drinks and snacks are available at cost price.

Paediatric nurse

A paediatric nurse offers advice and support on parenthood and on matters regarding your child’s health and development. A paediatric nurse is present on Wednesdays between 1.00 pm and 3.45 pm.

In the parents’ group you can obtain further information and have an opportunity to share your experiences.

Social counselling

A family therapist provides advice and support on major and minor worries. A family therapist is present on Mondays and Thursdays between 8.30 am and 12 noon. You can also obtain information on what social services can offer in various situations.

Midwife

There is a midwife at the Prisman Family Centre on Tuesdays from 8.00 am to 12.00 noon. The midwife will help with advice and booking appointments. Parenting courses for parents-to-be will be run at the family centre.
