2. Comments and remarks on diploma thesis:
The assignment of this diploma thesis arose from practice. The aim was to design a universal tool for adjusting the axles of cars. The goal was met in part.
Theoretical part: This is most of the text of the diploma thesis. The author deals with ergonomics in general and its measurement. The author provides an overview of materials suitable for tool construction. There is an overview of the types of cars and axles to be adjusted. The author describes the tools currently in use. I appreciate the work with sources, the author has demonstrated the ability to search for information and process it clearly. Citation sources are properly listed.
Practical part: This part is very brief. The design methodology and the design of the tool itself are presented here. Images from CAD software are added. I miss the description of the attachments.
From the beginning, there were regular consultations with the company and the supervisor. Unfortunately, the situation regarding COVID-19 appeared on the solution of this diploma thesis. ŠKODA Auto was closed for a month, the student went home to India. Although the communication took place at a distance, at an important time there was no personal consultation in the company.
This was reflected in the practical part of the thesis.
3. Questions about diploma thesis:
Has the use of modern technologies (e.g. 3D printing) been considered for the production of some parts of the tool?
