We are replacing Ping Pong with Unikum
During the summer, the Education Department will be replacing the Ping Pong learning platform. The new learning platform is called Unikum. We hope that the transition will go smoothly and thank you for your patience!
Why are we changing platform?
We conducted a procurement process and Unikum submitted the successful tender. Unikum has multiple functions and provides better support for day-to-day teaching, for both students and teachers.
When will Ping Pong disappear?
Ping Pong will disappear on 1 July. You can find information about the change to Unikum at katrineholm.se/unikum. Please keep an eye on the website to ensure that you do not miss any important information.
When will it be possible to log in to Unikum?
You will be able to log in to Unikum via Lärknuten using your e-
identification from 9 August. The app is called Unikum Family and you can download it from the App Store or Google Play.
What can I do in Unikum?
In Unikum, among other things you will be able to:
• access information from your preschool/school;
• access information from your child’s teachers;
• communicate with your child’s teachers;
• see how your child is developing at school;
• see your child’s assignments and timetable (school);
• reply to invitations to parent-teacher meetings; and
• access information from the Education Department.
