University for Business and Technology, 3 campuses in Kosovo Advance an intentional campus learning community through
1) reimagining and redesigning the UBT Libraries and
2) co-designing and co-creating a complementary UBT Knowledge Center

Today’s students work differently and today’s professors teach differently.
à Reinvented libraries provide future-oriented services, resources, and expertise.
à Remodeled spaces have ubiquitous technology and wireless internet.
à University heightens academic content and research

Collaborative design (co-design)
• Convene students, faculty, alumni and staff to chart these new institutional directions, mindful that engaging participants
encourages adoption and adaption and, thereby, diffusion of innovation.

the functions of libraries, labs, lounges, maker
spaces, media production facilities, and seminar
spaces in an integrated community gathering ecosystem.

What happens next
• Further evolution of the initial concept idea and related activities through future engagement with campus students and staff.
• Expand UBT Knowledge Center concept through further engagement with professors and students, the campus stakeholders.
• Enhance discovery and access to digital collections, including UBT- generated academic knowledge, to evolve a synergistic ecosystem.
