Vid mer tidsresurser kan det vara av intresse att studera svensk affärspress och dess framställning av managementkonceptet CSR för att se om det skiljer i framställning jämfört med populärmanagementpress. Det kan vara av intresse att undersöka en längre tidsperiod för att undersöka hur framträdande den ideologiska aspekten av konceptet varit och hur den förändras över tid.

Resultatet visade att bundling och housing av CSR-konceptet sker först år 2009, vilket kan tyda på att det sker mer för institutionaliserade koncept. Detta är något som litteraturen inte klargör. Därmed skulle forskning behövas av hur förespråkare för managementkoncept använder konceptens designegenskaper genom att kombinera och tillägga andra/ytterligare designegenskaper till konceptet. Ett mönster skulle kunna framstå genom att studera hur det sker i livscykelns olika stadier.
