7. Slutsatser

7.4 Förslag på fortsatt forskning

Eftersom employee advocacy är ett område som hittills är relativt orört inom forskningen vill vi understryka vikten av att ytterligare studier görs inom området. Det bör först och främst nämnas att en mer omfattande studie med samma utgångspunkt som den här studien skulle kunna vara av intresse, eftersom möjligheten att generalisera resultaten då skulle vara större. Det skulle även vara intressant att inkludera andra demografiska variabler än åldern för att se huruvida resultaten skiljer sig åt inom dem. Exempel på sådana variabler är kön och utbildning. En utveckling av forskningen om employee advocacy ur andra intressenters perspektiv skulle även kunna vara gynnsamt för att skapa ett bredare perspektiv inom området. Eftersom den här studien fokuserar på employee advocacy på Facebook är ytterligare ett tänkvärt förslag att studera hur resultaten skulle bli på andra sociala medier. Exempel på sociala medier som skulle kunna vara av intresse är Instagram och Twitter.
