FÖRSLAG TILL FORTSATTA STUDIER

I denna kvalitativa studie har VR som visuellt kommunikationsverktyg undersökts med hjälp av programvaran Unity och hårdvaran HTC Vive. Det hade därför varit intressant att studera:

Användandet av annan programvara och hårdvara. Till exempel programvara som tillåter omedelbar navigering i VR direkt från BIM-programvaran. Eller användandet av en annan spelmotor såsom Unreal Engine.

Undersöka hur mobil VR kan användas inom den arkitektoniska kommunikationen, med hjälp av till exempel Google Cardboard.

Undersöka hur augmented reality (AR), 360°-bilder eller videos kan användas för att underlätta kommunikationen mellan arkitekter, kunder och brukare.

Ett kvantitativt tillvägagångssätt.

Undersöka hur VR kan användas för att utvärdera en gestaltning utifrån någon annans perspektiv. Till exempel funktionsnedsättningar eller brandsäkerhet.
