Förslag på framtida forskning

För framtida forskning ser vi potential i att fortsätta studera svenska startupföretag. Undersökningen visar att det finns skillnader i hur humankapitalet påverkar svenska startupföretag gentemot tidigare sydeuropeisk forskning. Vilket gör det intressant att

undersöka vad det faktiskt är som gör att startupföretag på den svenska marknaden tenderar att lyckas bättre än startupföretag i övriga Europa. Att finna svar på vad som gör att

svenska startupföretag lyckas kan även användas för att hjälpa till att förstå vilka mekanismer som är viktigast för startupföretag. Tidigare forskning pekar på att

humankapital har en stor påverkan på företag som är i ett tidigt stadie. Det kan därför vara nyttigt att försöka finna förklarande variabler till vad som påverkar humankapitalet. Den forskning som presenterats i området fokuserar främst på linjära samband. För att utveckla forskningen skulle även avtagande samband kunna analyseras. Med andra ord kan det finnas andra kvantitativa metoder än regressionsanalys som kan utveckla förståelsen kring humankapitalets påverkan på startupföretag. Det skulle även vara nyttigt att

komplettera den nuvarande forskningen, som till största del är kvantitativ, med kvalitativ forskning. Djupare forskning på de svenska startupföretag som lyckats skulle bidra till att förstå bakomliggande faktorer till framgång och specifikt humankapitalets påverkan.
