6.4 Förslag till framtida forskning

Vi finner det intressant att studera vidare runt detta ämne då det inte finns mycket forskning kring just detta. För att få en djupare och bättre förståelse för hur ledare balanserar autonomi och kontroll för att uppnå en kreativ arbetsmiljö, anser vi att fler kvalitativa studier skulle behövas. Dessa studier skulle också kunna styrka vår egna studies resultat om de kommer fram till samma utfall som vi gjort i denna studie. Om de kommer fram till andra resultat kan det därmed sägas att det finns fler faktorer som påverkar balanseringen av autonomi och kontroll för att uppnå en kreativ arbetsmiljö. Det finns också tendenser på det insamlade materialet och våra tolkningar att ledare inte avsiktligt balanserar autonomi och kontroll för att uppnå en kreativ arbetsmiljö. Då ett flertal respondenter sagt att de inte medvetet tänker på att de använder sig av dessa två

54 krafter. Vi anser därmed att det kan vara intressant att se mer forskning om och i sådana fall hur medvetenheten kring hur ledarnas styrning påverkar denna balansering och den kreativa arbetsmiljön.

Slutligen anser vi att framtida forskning kan fokusera på olika faktorer som kan påverka balanseringen, där en faktor kan vara förtroende. Eftersom vi också fann av studien att förtroende är en viktig del när ledare balanserar autonomi och kontroll, skulle det därmed vara intressant att kunna spinna vidare på detta i framtida studier. Genom att exempelvis fokusera enbart på hur förtroendet mellan ledning och medarbetare påverkar balanseringen av autonomi och kontroll.
