Då denna studie har använt sig av ett bekvämlighetsurval och endast kvantitativ ansats, rekommenderas det att göra en studie som har ett slumpmässigt urval samt att kombinera kvalitativ och kvantitativ ansats. Genom att kombinera kvalitativ och kvantitativ undersökningsmetod kommer en bredare och djupare förståelse för innehållmarknadsföring skapas. Ytterligare en aspekt som går att undersöka är kombinationer av de tre typerna av inlägg, det vill säga exempelvis underhållande inlägg som också informerar och granska dessa kombinationers påverkan på tillit och lojalitet. Genom att undersöka kombinationer av de tre typerna av inlägg med en kvalitativ metod kommer även bakomliggande orsaker kunna upptäckas.
