6.5 Förslag till vidare forskning
Studien baseras på inköpsprocessen för transporter hos Wexiödisk. Liknande studie hade kunnat genomföras på annat fall och jämföras med denna studie för att hitta likheter och
skillnader i själva processen, icke-värdeskapande aktiviteter, slöseri och möjliga förbättringsförslag.
Dessutom vidare forskning skulle kunna basera på ett fall av faktiskt genomförd outsourcing och studera identifierade kostnader och hur de ändrades.
I studien skapas det en modell som vägleder företag vid identifiering av kostnader som tillgår i samband med outsourcing. Den modellen hade kunnat ytterligare utvecklas med studier på faktiska fall av outsourcing och bygga på med fler kostnader.
Ett sista förslag på vidare forskning är att studera kostnadsförändringar vid outsourcing av inköpsprocessen för transporter med verkliga siffror och studera storleken på dessa kostnader.
