6. Sammanfattande diskussion och slutsatser

6.4 Förslag till vidare forskning

Vi anser att det skulle vara spännande att undersöka detta område djupare i form av

exempelvis Agnblads et al. (2001) teori om hur det utländska ägandet kan komma att förändra hur ägandet i Sverige ser ut. Har det skett en ökning av utländskt ägande senaste åren? Om ja, hur har detta påverkat ägandet fram till idag? Går det att se en tydlig förändring? Finns det ett samband mellan förändringen och ökningen av utländskt ägande?

Ett annat förslag till fortsatt forskning är en undersökning med större fokus på agentteorin och ”principal agent problem”. Vi tycker att detta skulle vara av intresse på den svenska börsen då det råder koncentrerat ägande vilket ofta ligger till grund för just ett agentproblem och därmed även kontrollmissbruk/ maktutövning. Alltså en mer djupgående studie med inriktning som fokuserar mer på agentproblemet. Hur vanligt är det att ett agentproblem uppstår? Vad har det för påverkan på företaget utöver agentkostnader?
