Denna studie omfattar 89 företag fördelade runtom i Sveriges 21 län. Dessa företag valdes då de placerades inom topp 20 sett till största omsättning. Därför finner vi att vidare forskning inom detta område där urvalet begränsats med andra avgränsningar är nödvändigt. Liksom Michaelidou et al. (2011) studie rekommenderar vi avgränsningar som;

- antalet anställda - geografisk placering - antalet år på marknaden - tjänst vs. produkt

Vidare skulle även en replikeringsstudie vara av värde, där demografisk data som branschtillbehö- righet är en beskrivande variabel. Denna studie har inte valt att fokusera på huruvida företagens användande av SNS skiljer sig mellan branscher, vilket fortsatt forskning kan undersöka.

Slutligen rekommenderar vi även, som nämnt under Studiens begränsningar, en liknande undersök- ning med en kvalitativ metod. Detta för att respondenterna själva skall få utvärdera sitt användande av sociala nätverk och med egna ord uttrycka i vilket syfte dessa används.
