7.2 Förslag till vidare forskning
Denna studie har bidragit med mer insyn kring svensk bolagsstyrning genom att studera hur bolagen på Stockholmsbörsen OMX30 förhåller sig till svensk kod för bolagsstyrning och om det finns ett potentiellt mönster mellan OMX30 bolagens ägarstruktur och hur de väljer att följa Koden. Studien anses ha genererat ett resultat som eventuellt kan styrka tidigare forskningsresultat. Undersökningen har sin begränsning i antal undersökta börsnoterade bolag, då studiens endast valt att studera bolag på OMX30 Stockholmsbörsen. För framtida forskning inom detta ämnesområde skulle det därför vara intressant att undersöka alla svenska bolag som är noterade på Nasdaq. Börsnoterade bolag som ingår i kategorierna Small Cap, Mid Cap och Large Cap för att kunna undersöka skillnader och likheter inom dessa kategorier, gällande implementeringen av svensk kod för bolagsstyrning samt bolagens ägarstruktur.
