Då generaliserbarheten i denna studie är begränsad med hänsyn till det få antal deltagare och urvalet var självselekterat skulle en större studie med flera deltagare och från flera kommuner kunna tillföra mer kunskap om upplevelsen av integrationen utifrån flyktingars perspektiv. Det vore även intressant att se om upplevelsen av externa och interna resurser skiljer sig beroende på utbildningsbakgrund, kön eller etnicitet.
