Ett potentiellt område för framtida studier skulle kunna vara en mer djupgående analys av de fonologiska förenklingsprocesserna hos svenska barn med CI/HA. Appendix A - Informations- och samtyckesbrev till rektor på förskola/skola Till rektor på förskola/skola
Hej!
Vi som skriver detta brev heter Amela Gruhonjić och Lovisa Stengård. Vi är logopedstudenter och studerar termin 8 på Logopedprogrammet vid Linköpings Universitet. I vår magisteruppsats, som handleds av professor Björn Lyxell, undersöker vi om det finns ett samband mellan hörsel, tal och kognition hos barn med hörselnedsättning och hos barn med normal hörsel.
För att kunna jämföra barn med hörselnedsättning behöver vi undersöka en grupp barn med normal hörsel i åldern 5-7 år, och det är därför vi nu frågar om Ni och er förskola/skola är intresserade av att delta i undersökningen. För er skulle det innebära att vi kommer till förskolan/skolan och träffar varje barn individuellt vid ett tillfälle under våren (ca 45 min) på tider som passar er. Barnen får utföra uppgifter som testar språkliga förmågor och minne. De test som vi använder är inte svåra för barnen och de upplevs av de flesta som roliga.
Om Du och din förskola/skola är intresserade av att vara med skulle vi behöva hjälp med att välja ut deltagare till studien samt dela ut och samla in informations- och samtyckesbrev till föräldrarna, där de får fylla i om barnen får tillåtelse att delta. De barn som kommer att behövas till studien är barn som bedöms som normalbegåvade, som inte har någon känd hörselnedsättning eller några uppenbara språkliga svårigheter och som kan anses representera genomsnittet. Vi behöver också hjälp med att få en relativt ostörd vrå med ett bord och två stolar där vi kan sitta och göra testen.
Barnens prestationer behandlas konfidentiellt och resultaten presenteras på gruppnivå. Uppsatsupplägget är granskat och godkänt av en intern etisk kommitté. Resultaten kommer att redovisas i en magisteruppsats och vid ett seminarium samt läggas ut på E-press, som är en databas för uppsatser. Om ni önskar får ni givetvis ett exemplar.
Vi kontaktar er inom en vecka för att svara på eventuella frågor och för att få ett preliminärt muntligt besked angående deltagande i studien från er.
