Resultatet av uppsatsen kan bidra till förståelsen om klassifikationens nutida påverkan och vilka faktorer som påverkar de klassificerade producenterna. Då klassifikationen i denna studien slutligen bedömts vara grundad ur ett marknadsföringssyfte skulle denna aspekten kunna undersökas ur ett annat kärnämne än Måltidskunskap och värdskap. Materialet skulle även kunna ligga till grund till mer omfattande studier ur producentperspektivet samt undersöka klassifikationens inverkan för konsumenten ur dennes synvinkel.
I denna studie har nyckelpersoner, aktiva inom klassificerade producenters verksamheter, hörts om deras uppfattning om hur klassifikationen påverkar dem, deras verksamhet och bordeauxviner i helhet. En ytterligare intressant frågeställning hade varit att undersöka samma parametrar utifrån producenter ej inkluderade i klassifikationen – både belägna inom berörda kommuner samt inom ej berörda områden. Även undersökning av påverkan på producenter som marknadsför olika typer av prissegment och vinstilar än de som de klassificerade producenterna gör hade kunnat vara av intresse.
