Företag, branschorganisationer och enskilda personer med ledarroll inom restaurangbranschen har alla nytta av denna studie. Studien kan läsas för att få en inblick över potentiella åtgärder för att förbättra ledarskap, välmående och personalomsättning. Detta kan bidra till att ge stöd till de undersökningar som är ett underlag för viktiga beslut som rör restaurangbranschen som helhet på

branschorganisationsnivå och politisk nivå. Eftersom ​LMX​ teorin nu har visat sig ha ett samband med positiva konsekvenser för personal inom den svenska restaurangbranschen kan teorin användas för att utveckla och utbilda ledare. Företag kan använda ledarskap som ett verktyg för att påverka företagets personalomsättning istället för mer ekonomiskt påfrestande alternativ. Personer med ledarroll kan tillämpa ledarskapsteori för ökat välmående bland följare nu när sambandet har hittats. Denna studie kan också ge stöd till vidare forskning som vill undersöka hur olika ledarstilar medför konsekvenser för följare och hur goda ledare-följare-relationer kan produceras.
