Båda författarna till litteraturöversikten har bidragit till varje del av litteraturöversikten. Bakgrundens olika områden delades till en början upp sinsemellan författarna där artiklar och annan litteratur söktes upp enskilt. Därefter fördes en gemensam diskussion och specifika områden skrevs om tillsammans under arbetets gång. I metoden delades datainsamlingen upp i två delar, Sophia ansvarade för sökningen i CINAHL och Tess för sökningen i PubMed. Sökningarna genomfördes enskilt där titel, abstract och fulltext lästes. Därefter granskades utvalda artiklar först enskilt sedan fördes en diskussion gemensamt kring innehållet i varje artikel till konsensus uppstod. I analysen plockades innehållet ut gemensamt där det skrevs in och översattes i en tabell. Resultatet och diskussionsavsnittet har genomförts på samma sätt, där kategorier/fynden först delades upp och skrevs enskilt, för att sedan diskuteras och gemensamt skrivas om.
