5.6 Slutsats

Denna studie har bidragit med en djupare förståelse för hur ledare som har utbildats i utvecklande ledarskap relaterar till att vara ett föredöme. En slutsats är att det är nära koppling mellan hur informanterna uppfattar begreppet föredöme och hur de faktiskt agerar i praktiken. Studien tydliggör att chefer som har utbildats i utvecklande ledarskap relaterar starkt till att vara föredömen då de är medvetna om de positiva organisatoriska effekterna detta kan ha. Avslutningsvis så visar studien även att även vid hinder så är cheferna hängivna sitt uppdrag och gör allt de kan för att fortsätta agera som ett föredöme för sina medarbetare.
