Med utgångspunkt i genomförd studie uppmuntras förnyad forskning utifrån ett tvärvetenskapligt perspektiv kring implementeringsstudier. Detta för att ytterligare fördjupa förståelsen, och därmed skapa förutsättningar för ett framgångsrikt implementeringsarbete i organisationer av Barnkonventionen.
Systemteori skapar nya impulser till organisationsteorin menar Mayrhofer (2007) då perspektivet bidrar med en ny vinkling för välkända problem inom organisationer. Enligt Galliers, m.fl. (1997), finns det mycket att vinna från en kombination av flerdisciplinärt samarbete mellan organisationsteoretiker och systemteoretiker. Barett (2004) menar också att finns ett behov av förnyad forskning med ett tvärvetenskapligt perspektiv kring implementeringsstudier.
