6.2 Kritisk metodreflektion

6.2.3 Vidare forskning

En lovande inriktning för framtida forskning kan vara att undersöka huruvida konsumenter som strävar efter unicitet använder kundanpassningsverktyg annorlunda än konsumenter som värderar passform och det funktionella högre. En jämförelse mellan manlig och kvinnlig användning av kundanpassning hade även funnits intressant. Detta för att företag bättre skall kunna erbjuda sin målgrupp ett väl anpassat användarverktyg utefter konsumenternas önskemål. Vidare vore det även intressant att se hur betydelsen och resonemangen kring de kundanpassade produkterna utvecklas över tid, via att exempelvis intervjua konsumenter som under en längre tid har använt sina kundanpassade produkter.
