6.1 Vidare forskning

Vidare forskning kan undersöka huruvida mer flexibla processer i sjukvården kan göra det möjligt att hantera det akuta inflödet av patienter som sker i vissa avdelningar. Detta då det framkom i denna studie att oplanerad efterfrågan tycks vara den faktor som orsakar majoriteten av variation och flaskhalsar.
