Förslag på vidare studier är att testa metodiken på fler fallföretag med liknande förutsättningar, för att undersöka om fler påverkande faktorer kan identifieras.
Vidare kan studier angående uppföljningssystem i resursanvändning och hur sådana kan appliceras vara av intresse. Vid utfört integreringsarbete på företag och tillgång på information kan uppföljning bidra till att möjliggöra en simulering av processerna för utökad synlighet över resurserna och hur dem kan påverkas vid en rörlig marknad.
Vidare studier kan också behandla hur man på ett bra sätt utför det förändringsarbete som krävs för att effektivisera interna logistiksystem för att de anställda ska vara motiverade och mottagliga för förändring på sin arbetsplats.
