SOCIAL EVENTS
CATERED LUNCHES: There wfll be catered 1 unches on 14ednesday and Thursday,
the two days of continuing education courses and workshops. A light
lunch and sandwich buffet will assure everyone of a good meal in the
relatively short break period. Restaurant facilities are somewhat limited
in the immediate area.
LUNCHEON: A sit down 1 uncheon with a refreshing speaker is lhe order of the
day for Friday lunch. The speaker, Dr. Howard Wilcox, is the Associate Chief
of Staff for Education at the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center and
Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Ulah. ~lis
abiding interest in the history or medicine infects all who speak with
or listen to him.

1 NE & CHEESE; C. E. part lc 1 pants will gather after classes ~lednesdayevening, September 21, at the Yarrow pool for a wine and cheese social
hour before dinner. If the air is too crisp we will stay inside. There
Is no charge for this event, but tickets will be required.
WELCOME RECEPTION: The Kimball Art Center at the foot of Park City's
historic Main Street will be the setting for a catered buffet and
cocktailparty Thursday evening. Out party will be in the main
gallery where the annual Utah Invitational Crafts Exhibition will be
showing. There will be watercolors by a local artist in the lower
gallery as well. You may ~1ant to return for another visit to this
gem of an art museum. Dinner that night will be yours to choose from
a score or more of Park City's good restaurants nearby.
BANQUET: Deer Va 11 ey is Utah's newest resort 1 ocated a mile from Park
City. It presents the ultimate in luxury for skiers in winter and
year round for diners. Our banquet will be held in the beautiful
timbered dining room of the Snow Park Lodge. If it is not too chilly
we will have cocktails before dinner on the deck overlooking the
surrounding mountains. Buses will provide transportation to and
