Steerable Puller-Unit

Saves Beets Others Miss

You can guide ·puller wheels 4 inches to the right or to the left, with just a touch of the tractor hydraulic control. The entire puller unit (shown at left in red) is positioned later-ally inside the frame, by hydraulic cylinder (A). Steering is quicker and more precise than where a steerable hitch is used, because you move puller wheels only, and not the massive (up to 7 tons) weight of the harvester and beets irr the tank. You'll save more beets where short headlands, rough ground, or washouts make steering difficult. Fuller wheels are raised or lowered hydraulically, too, with cylinder (B).
