Gentlemen:

I enclose herewith Certificate No.

for one share and Certificate No. 11 for 45 shares of the capital stock of The Big Thompson Mutual Pipe Line and Irrigation Company, representing your contribution of $4600.00. One of these certificates is made out to D. R. Pulliam to qualify him to act as a director.

Under our contract with the Northern Colorado Water

Conservancy District it is necessary that we make an estimate of the requirements of your stockholders for the coming year in acre feet. You understand, of course, that the stock-holders are not required to take any water unless they want to, and in order that we may have some idea of the demands for water we will have to have an estimate of what the stock-holders think they will want. This estimate, of course. can be changed from time to time to vary with conditions, and the stockholders are not required -to take Rverl. the amount of water they estimate they want'unless they want it.

However, since the pipe line will probably be ready to deliver water the early part of June, we will have to have

. something upon which to base a request to the Conservancyr: , . 'Water. We would like to have this estithate 01
