Personnel management is studied in terms of interper:sonal relationships. Topics cove·red include: what makes a good supervisor, conflicts in values and expectations ••h:i.ch impair staff productivi ty, and manage

-ment attitudes which provide for work satisfaction. Using the tech-niques o.f case study and psychr>drama, adminj,strative problE>Jns are discussed, ena.cted and analyzed by the group. WORKSHOP ON THE DEVPLOPNENT OF A HEALTH SCIENCE LIBRARY CONSORTIUH Description: Areas to be considered: The place of the hospital

library consortium in the National Biomedical Communications Net

-work, the principles underlying the formation of a consortium, and the practical frame"ork l4ithin which a consortium operates.

Some of the materials ~~hich wi l l be provided include : a statement

of objectives for a consortium, samples o.f formal consortia

agree-ments, service outl ines, survey guidelines and suggestions of

funding sources.
