-To the Worker:

In the annual report due from each worker it is desired that a clear ac-count of the work of the year be given. This ::'Eport should be divided into two

parts: (1) a narrative report1 and (2) a tabulated or sy.mmary report.

(1) Narrative Report; This is an important part of the annual report and

should be in effect a statement under appropriate subLeac.ings of (1) the plans i:r.-~

eluding plan of organization) (2) the methods emp}.oyeci :i_r .. carrying them ouJ.; and (3)

the results s-ecured under each plan or project un.lertaken1 as well as all miscella~

neous work accompl~shed. This report may be illustrated with photographs) maps~

diagrams) blue prints1 or any material found oi value.

(2) Slln!mary Report: This is designed to be a summary of those features of the narrative report tbat can be tabu1.ated. In order that the State and

Nat_ion-al summaries may be c omp:i.led) it is necessary that there be some unif ormi t_y in the
