UNIFYING DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT WITH INTERNATIONAL REFERENCE STANDARDS
BACHELOR’S THESIS PROPOSAL IN DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT
Purpose:
Identify needs and requirements to incorporate IFS Applications™ document management with international reference standards.
Description:
IFS has a strong reputation of excellent implementation of IFS Applications™, a business system focused on ease-of-use while still being able to address great complexity with the well-designed underlying domains. The document management system in IFS Application provides a simple yet powerful approach to handling documents, that ensures that the right information is available to the right people at the right time, giving the costumer full control of the company’s documentation so they can focus on the things that really matter: selling their products and services.
In organizations, for example utility companies, where capital intensive/expensive physical assets are critical factors in achieving business goals there are international reference standards that our customers need to fulfill. We need you to help us map these standards and incorporate them into our system!
You will be at the frontline, interacting with our customers and mapping their demands. You will then relay this information to our developers and closely collaborate in suggesting future system
enhancements. It is an exciting role where you will act as a coordinating communicator between costumers and developers.
Goal:
- Investigate what document management standards that exists globally
- Identify different needs and requirements by talking to our customers and developers - Identify gaps between reference standards and IFS Applications™
