You will be with the opening concert and <the song of Masters> program.

We are having an opening gala concert with important cast members of the festival every year.

In the Song of Masters<The song of Kwangdae>, we are planning to have a collaboration of you and Korean traditional wind instrument 'Daegeum'.

The player is Lee chang-sun from Jeonju city, about 44years old man and a member of Jeonju city traditional orchestra.

Theme of year: Wish on the winds

The 18th Jeonju Int’l Sori Festival 2019 presents to give an opportunity to look back at the meaning and value of healing, comfort, and wish to all of those who are distressed from daily life. The Korean word '바람(Baram)' has double meanings: one is the winds instruments itself and the other is wishes that are deeply rooted in the tradition such as Buddhist music and farmers’ music. Under the theme of Wish on the Winds, festival will presents special programs which was focused on wind instruments from all around the world.

Opening concert @Moak hall, 2 Oct

A kind of opening gala concert to celebrate the 2019 Sori Festival at Moak hall which has about 2000 seats.

Under the theme of this year, Musicians from Korea and the world will perform together. Max 10 minutes of each musicians' solo and big jam with other all will be continue for around 20min.

Masterclass/Solo concert @ Moak Hall 4 Oct

We will provide a moderator(expert) who can explain your musical & cultural background in Korean language.

We'd like to present your own music with various kind of flutes and the sounds as you suggested last email.

Song of Masters <The song of Kwangdae> @Moak hall, 4 Oct

Special program with winds masters from Korea and the world at Moak hall, same venue of opening concert.

It will broadcast by <Space Gonggam> of EBS which is one of the most well-known TV music program in Korea.

3. Anders solo, Anders + Lee chang seon (around 7-10min)

4. Taiwanese traditional wind instruments + Korean traditional wind instruments 5. Koean traditional wind instruments + Korean traditional wind instruments 6. improvisation with Kang Tae hwan, Nawang Khechog, Anders

We may need you to give us one song which you will play for the opening, director Park will ask for the style of a song soon.
