“Any fool can know. The point is to understand.” - Albert Einstein
Personal Statement
I am a young aspirational scholar positioned in the information systems and organization studies field. In my research, I look into organizational processes of any kind. Whenever possible, I like working with digital trace data, since this form of data allows us insights that other kinds of data do not. Up to now, I have supervised a total of 15 master and bachelor theses spanning a variety of topics. More recently, I supervise theses in the digital entrepreneurship space, e.g. on how corporate incubators influence entrepreneurial behavior. My master thesis was awarded the best master thesis award by the University of Liechtenstein as well as the young scientist award by the society for process management. I am a HICSS Doctoral Fellow and my conference paper on rule growth in holacratic organizations was nominated for the ”that’s interesting” award at EGOS 2019. My work has been published and I have attended a variety of conferences, including the European Group for Organisational Studies, ECIS, and HICSS. Furthermore, one of my papers is accepted for publication in the Communications of the Association for Information Systems and another paper is under review at the Journal of Information Technology.
