„,..,,A,NT 0,
Pursuant to Article 6(a) of Amendment No. 4 to Contract No. 50-07-70-W0086, we
have estimated a total of 206,258 acre-feet of Fryingpan-Arkansas Project
water.to be available for the Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy District
during the period May 1,.1997 through April 30: 1998. Of the 206,258
acre-feet of water, 116,000 acre-acre-feet are available for allocation this year.
The 206,258 acre-feet of Project water, as of May 1, 1997, have been
identified as follows:

DETERMINATION OF FRYINGPAN-ARKANSAS PROJECT AVAILABLE TO THE SECWCD
I. Obtain midnight April 30 Fry-Ark Project water in storage in Turquoise Lake.
2. Reduce the Project water by the minimum pool of 8,920 acre-feet.
3. Reduce the amount determined in No. 2 above by any Fry-Ark Project imports prior to midnight April 30.
4. Reduce this amount by the transit loss from Twin Lakes to Pueblo Reservoir (10% loss).
Example: April 30, 1990 Turquoise Fry-Ark water
