To you who have custody of a child in the nursery schools and schools of the Municipality of Skurup
The Public Health Agency of Sweden has seen indications that the Coronavirus Covid-19 is spread in society and now considers the risk being very high that the virus will continue to spread in Sweden. Therefore, the Municipality of Skurup takes special measures.
The Public Health Agency of Sweden recommends that everyone who feels unwell with cold symptoms, cough or fever, should try to avoid contact with other people, when there is a risk of spreading the infection. This applies even if you only feel slightly unwell. It is important that you do not risk infecting others. This applies at work as well as in private life, and can help limit the spread of the infection.
The following applies to children and pupils in the nursery schools and schools of the Municipality of Skurup
If your child experiences one or several symptoms like a cough, a cold, a sore throat, a fever or shortness of breath, you should keep your child at home. This applies even if the symptoms are mild. Wait at least two days after your child has recovered, before sending it back to school or nursery school.
If the symptoms appear during school hours, the nursery school or school will contact you who have custody of the child, and you will be requested to pick up your child as soon as possible.
If you need healthcare advice, please contact 1177 Vårdguiden.
Healthy children should attend school as usual.
The Government will on Friday make the decision to implement new regulations giving the responsible school authorities extended means to take necessary measures to reduce the risk of spreading the infection and secure the pupils’ rights to attend classes.
If you have questions, please contact your nursery school or school.
We hope for your understanding concerning these measures!
