‘Asia’s Energy Challenge’
The Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) together with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has the pleasure to invite you to the presentation of ADB’s flagship economic publication, the Asian Development Outlook 2013. The publication provides a comprehensive analysis of macroeconomic issues in developing Asia, with growth projections by country and region. This year's theme chapter is dedicated to “Asia’s Energy Challenge”.
Mr. Joseph Zveglich, ADB’s Assistant Chief Economist, will present the key findings of the report and discuss current issues.
The presentation will be followed by discussion by an expert panel, composed of Martin Ådahl, Chief Economist at Centerpartiet and former Director of the green liberal think-tank FORES; Göran Haag, Program Manager for Energy at the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida); Ola Hansén, Head of the International Climate Policy Section at the Swedish Energy Agency (to be confirmed); and Chloé Le Coq, Assistant Professor at SITE. The seminar will be introduced and chaired by Maria Perrotta, Assistant Professor at SITE. Time will be available for questions from the audience.
Date: Thursday April 18, 09.30 – 12.00, starting with registration and coffee, followed by the presentation at 10.00. A light lunch will be served after the seminar.
