The Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) is a highly regarded international business school located in Stockholm, Sweden. Our Master’s programs are composed of students from all over the globe.
FEES AND APPLICATION PROCESS
Master’s studies (MSc) at SSE are free of charge for European/
EEA/Swiss citizens, while others are required to pay a tuition fee of SEK 150 000 (approximately $18,000 USD) per year for two years. To enable access to higher education to the most qualified students, SSE awards a number of scholarships that are funded by generous private donations. Scholarships are available on a competitive basis for students admitted to one of our five Master’s programs. The scholarship application is submitted together with the program application.
All scholarship applications are assessed by a selection com- mittee, taking into consideration the relevance and the quality of the personal motivation, academic excellence, relevant extracurricular activities, program cohort diversity and the distribution of scholarships across all programs.
Applications are accepted each year until January 15. SSE dis- tributes scholarship offers to our best candidates by the middle of March. Visit www.hhs.se/studentscholarships to read more about our scholarships.

AMERICAN FRIENDS OF SSE SCHOLARSHIP
AMERICAN FRIENDS OF SSE SCHOLARSHIP
To further develop ties between the U.S. and Sweden, the American Friends of SSE (AFSSE), the U.S. SSE alumni chapter has estab- lished a scholarship that will cover the two-year tuition costs for one North American student (Canadian or U.S. citizen) who has been accepted to one of SSE’s Master’s programs. The first scholar- ship will be awarded to a student starting his/her studies at SSE in the fall of 2017. Deadline for the application is January 15.
”I chose SSE for my Master’s degree because of the exciting opportunity to study in a close- knit community but in an
international setting. After my bachelor’s degree, I wanted experience outside of the U.S.
in order to learn more about international business alongside students from around the world.
SSE’s close connection with
Swedish businesses has given me contact with projects and topics to better prepare me for a career in Stockholm or abroad.”
Madison Rex, 2nd year Master’s student in Business & Management
